Rename away from primary topic?

[edit]

Should this person remain as the primary topic for Mark Ferguson (there are many, many Mark Fergusons)? Or should the article be renamed with a disambiguator, as for the other bios? Andy Dingley (talk) 11:04, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Confused

[edit]

OK. So I just stumbled upon this page. The article had been in existence since 2006. From the edit history, I can see that a few dozen editors have worked on it over the years. However, when I first saw it, there was only one--ONE--inline citation in the page. One footnote. In 13 years. Seriously? How does that happen? If hardly anyone had edited it at all, I could sort of understand how this could happen. But dozens of editors have collectively managed to include one footnote.

I am not convinced that Mr. Ferguson is notable enough for his own Wikipedia page. I threw in a couple of footnotes in a show of good faith and cleaned things up a little, but if some of the folks who have been working on this don't get it together and actually include some sources in the text, I intend to nominate it for deletion. Filmography organization

[edit]

Mr Ferguson has enough credits that the current list is difficult to read. Should it be alphabetized (with sub bullets for multiple appearances) or made into a chronological table like most filmographies? AniKitt (talk) 17:02, 21 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
