Factual accuracy
[edit]The very poor stub I created here has been over-written with a student essay, unfortunately not a very good one. I may or may not find the time and energy to rewrite it. A couple of quick questions:
- why does the page say that he was the grandson of Orcagna and son of his brother the painter Nardo di Cione when (a) that is not possible (he would have been Orcagna's nephew) and (b) sources such as Grove and the Dizionario Biografico degli Italiani say that he was not connected to that family, but was the son of a Sienese sculptor of the same name (note: I linked to the wrong Nardo when I wrote this)
- why is he called "Lionardo di Cione" here, but nowhere (that I can see) else?
