[edit]I am not very computer literate (as you must already know.) I do not understand the issues raised on this Biography. With any issues related to the formatting of this article I would greatly appreciate assistance.
As far as information sourcing for this Biography, the core data is specifically delieniated, including the personal Military files of Colonel Magruder as refrence. I listed all official Military records depositories used herein. They are all that are available for records. I listed various books related to establishing Colonel Magruder is a pioneer in Radar Intercept Night Fighting for the Navy Department in WWII and confirmed He and his squadron, VMF(N) 533 as the top scoring night fighter squadron in the pacific theatre in WWII by books that discuss his accomplishments. This is also confirmed on the Acepilots website I included.

- Hi; thanks for typing all this in! I've taken a stab at formatting and organizing the biography. I think the next steps are to pull out a quick summary of information about Magruder's career into the first paragraph, and to distill the portions about his military life to the important bits. You could use Chesty Puller as a model for the desired level of detail. The goal is to have an encylopedia-level of detail. Reference-wise, Wikipedia is moving from a general list of references to a more detailed list of where each tidbit of information comes from. I wouldn't worry about that at this point - there are a tremendous number of pages that don't meet the Wikipedia citation standard. Also, do you know if Colonel Magruder is the Magruder in "Magruder's Principles" referred to in Army Field Manual 90-2 [1]? It seems to fit, and it would be notable, but I can't verify it. Rosewell
[edit]Is this the same Marion Macgruder whose children claimed he witnessed alien bodies after the alleged Rosewell UFO crash? If so you would think there would be some mention here? 2600:1006:A123:C0C0:71E5:5CC3:FDAC:DC79 (talk) 19:16, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
