Questions about General Walker assassination attempt?

What purpose does this sentence from the article have.

” Questions about her reliability as a witness were expressed within the commission, particularly in regard to her claims about an assassination attempt on General Edwin Walker,”

Oswald left a detailed note the night he left to attempt to kill General Walker. It is hand written in Russian. Verified to be Oswald’s handwriting. It contained 11 different instructions for Marina to follow in case he was caught or killed during the attempt. The letter was translated and verified by the authorities. Marina testified that Oswald left the note for her, and contained things that only he could have known. (Location/number of P.O. Box)

Is the purpose of the above sentence in the article in order to question whether or not Oswald was the attempted assassin of General Walker? No other suspect has ever been suggested for this crime. Oswald’s attempt to assassinate General Walker has always been problematic for the conspiracy industry.

The reference for the sentence is from a book by conspiracy author Robert Groden. Just providing a reference doesn’t make an entry valid. If the author of the reference makes his living as a conspiracy author, it is a dubious reference. Implied criticisms of the authenticity of Marina’s testimony about this event don’t belong in this article.

I suggest that this sentence be either removed or revised in the interest of keeping Wikipedia entries fact based. Kyle kursk (talk) 00:48, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
