Our text in this version:
  • Perilous Journey earned the California Library Association’s Beatty Award and the Virginia Library Association’s Jefferson Cup (honor book), was named to New York Public Library’s Top 100 Books for Reading and Sharing in 1999, and was cited as an American Library Association Notable Children's Book in 2000.

  • The Perilous Journey of the Donner Party, which earned the California Library Association’s Beatty Award and the Virginia Library Association’s Jefferson Cup (honor book), was named to New York Public Library’s Top 100 Books for Reading and Sharing, and was one of the American Library Association’s Notable Books for Children.
When we remove the dates, which are uncited and not verified by the source, we have plagiarism. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 20:53, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have been through what sources I can find, but most of this BLP is uncited. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 21:22, 13 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed this text for the second time now; it needs to be rewritten in our own words to avoid too close paraphrasing and plagiarism.
