I query the reference to her as being associated with a member of the Christian Socialist Party. In Belgium, the French speaking version of the Christian Democrats is know as the Christian Social Party. Could the author mean that?
Well, for an explanatory link we have a choice between Christian Democrat and Christian Socialist. As far as parties go, we don't have an article on the PSC-CVP, let alone pre-war groups, only on the modern CdH/CdV. Saying that Maria Baers and Marguerite de Riemaecker-Legot were connected to the CdV/CdH would be much more misleading than saying they were Christian Socialists or Christian Democrats. Some day we may have articles on the PSC-CVP, CSC, KAV, the LOFC, and similar Christian Social groups, but at present we don't. As things are, I believe that some link is better than none. Hope this explains things. Let me know if you disagree! Angus McLellan(Talk)15:11, 8 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
