Incorrect birth and death dates.

[edit]

Margherita Hack was born on 12 June 1992, Florence, Italy. And she died on 29 June 2013,Trieste, Italy. Rex Ripleys (talk) 07:17, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Question: what sources do you have for that? Cabayi (talk) 09:02, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The details were already corrected before the request was made. Fox restored the last good version from before the influx of Google doodle vandals. Cabayi (talk) 10:10, 12 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Photograph

[edit]

I would argue that File:Margherita Hack in Genoa.jpg is a much better main picture for this article. It is

  • of much better quality and resolution
  • more recent
  • an actual portrait in the intentions of the photographer.

My edit was reverted so I'm opening this discussion thread. -- BouncyCactus (talk) 08:27, 16 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

(Note: it was I who reverted the change of image) Thanks for starting this, BouncyCactus. I don't really agree – I met her only once, but remember her as a powerful and dynamic woman, so an image that shows her looking ... well, uncertain or even confused seems to do her little justice. What about the previous image File:MHack-crop.jpg? I think it is by far better than the two discussed. I will boldly restore it and see if there are any objections. 〜イヴァンスクルージ九十八[IvanScrooge98]会話 12:14, 9 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
