Tripoli or Antioch?
[edit]Adam, you have the Mazoirs down as vassals of Tripoli, but according to Hugh Kennedy, they held their lordship from Antioch (although Renaud II was the son-in-law of Pons of Tripoli). Sources? Choess 04:40, July 19, 2005 (UTC)
- I can't remember what source specifically that comes from, but I'll try to find it. I did think it was odd - perhaps the Mazoirs lived on the border? Tripoli and Antioch were often at odds in the 12th century so maybe their allegiances shifted. Adam Bishop 06:58, 19 July 2005 (UTC)
