Murder vs killing

[edit]

Not only has a user edit warred his way to almost breaking the three rr but they also have the audacity to claim I should take this to the talk page in spite of them edit warring against the standard version or "stable version" as I have seen it been refered to as. How is killing for national liberation in Ireland in 2011 any different than killing for national liberation in america in the 18th century or natonal liberation in france in the 20th century?112.217.228.212 (talk) 20:07, 29 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

If you're referring to the murder of Ronan Kerr, it was indeed murder under the laws obtaining in that place at that time, and would be murder under any jurisdiction on Earth. Comparison with war-fighting situations is dishonest. Khamba Tendal (talk) 17:58, 5 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
