Notability

[edit]

Subject doesn't appear to meet WP:BIO criteria. Looks like a classic case of WP:1E. I propose a redirect to A Catholic Statement on Pluralism and Abortion. Cloonmore (talk) 23:42, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, she was known for her achievements before that statement and after that statement. She was the founder of the Institute of Women Today, founder of the National Coalition of American Nuns, co-founder of the National Interreligious Task Force on Soviet Jewry, and an adviser to the World Council of Churches. She won awards from the State of Israel, and the Chicago Catholic Women. Whatever is lacking in this article can be fixed by fleshing it out, not by merging. So you say. But we need reliable sources to establish notability. Cloonmore (talk) 03:03, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So go find them. You appear to be fully able to improve this article. I was able to find them, so I think anyone could. Binksternet (talk) 04:34, 3 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

National Coalition of American Nuns (NCAN)

[edit]

Traxler founded the National Coalition of American Nuns (NCAN) in 1969 but the article does not yet tell this to the reader. Binksternet (talk) 03:19, 26 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
