“After they married, the lived at the Plaza Hotel in New York. In 1924, she was sued by Madeline Helen Modica of Newark for over an apparent affair with Madeline's husband, Emmanuel Victor Modica, a car salesman.”

Would probably flow better with…

“of Newark over an apparent affair” striking the word “for” Nynyfan (talk) 02:19, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
