External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Marcus Caelius. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20100308225128/http://www.livius.org:80/caa-can/caelius/marcus_caelius.html to http://www.livius.org/caa-can/caelius/marcus_caelius.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.

[edit]I just came up with a theory, his freedmen were likely his servants with the convoy/wherever they set up camp, and they died with Marcus in battle, hence “his freedmens may be interred here”, I bet Marcus’s remains were near the original cenotaphs location, and his brother gave permission to have them burirf them with their centurion, assuming they even recovered the remains
also I bet Marcus took part in another battle on wikipedia, within the past 25 years preceding his death, within the line from bononia to kalkriese Proffet123 (talk) 01:05, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
