Photo Gallery Issues

Note to Marcolazzara2 - This is an encyclopedia article, not a personal web page. Scattering photos all over the page breaks up the text and makes it unreadable. I have moved the 3 extra photos added today into a gallery section. Please do not move them back into the text. And please read this page on conflict of interest before editing this article further.

I also have serious doubts about the licensing of all four of the photos added to this article by Marcolazzara2. The uploader to Wikipedia Commons is a user on the Italian Wikipedia, Marcolazzara who claims that he took the photos himself. Quite a feat, since he is also the subject of the photos and they look to be commercially produced portraits and production photos. They appear on on both his own web site and that of his management, Opera Atelier, but does he own the copyright to them? Voceditenore (talk) 16:53, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rewrite

I have completely rewritten this with extensive inline citations, and removed the now inapplicable maintenance tags, including {{autobiography}}. In my view the notability tag should be removed as well, but I will wait until the AfD is concluded. Links to other WP articles will be added soon. The inline citations were fully compliant with Wikipedia:CITE#Shortened footnotes. Note that the full bibliographic information relating to each citation appeared in the "Sources" section. I have now changed the heading "References" to "Notes" and "Sources" to "References" as suggested at Wikipedia:CITE#Shortened footnotes. However the guidance there for the heading titles is rather at variance with that used in many Featured Articles, which use "Sources" for the full bibliographic information and "References" for the inline citations , e.g. Rhinemaidens, Agrippina (opera), Mozart in Italy, Ross Sea party, Ernest Joyce, etc. etc. Voceditenore (talk) 12:04, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
