Will review soon. Ruby 2010/2013 19:34, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
  • "She voiced several characters in the animated series The Simpsons from 1999 until 2002, including Maude Flanders, Helen Lovejoy, Miss Hoover, and others, after the original actress for these characters departed from the show." Needs rephrasing
  • her mother Patricia -> their mother Patricia (because you mentioned siblings; also add their to father)
  • "Gaven went to Hackley Elementary School in Tarrytown, New York when she was young and at that time she was certain that she wanted to work in show business.[3]" Needs rephrasing (maybe "..." young; while there, she became certain that she wanted to work in show business.")
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
  • Make sure sentences with direct quotes have citations directly after (like: "Gaven thought "helps show their side of the story.").
  1. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  • Were there any notable negative reviews of her performance?
  • I liked the addition of how she won the Tommy role. Is there other information out there that you could add in for her other roles?
  1. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  2. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  3. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  • For someone who's had such an exciting career, I wish the article had an image or two of Gaven (maybe an image of her performing). I know such images are difficult to come by though.
  1. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:

I noticed that she played several non-white characters. Is she white? The article doesn't give any indication of her ethnicity.

The article mainly has good prose, and is well-researched. I'll be happy to pass it once the above comments have been addressed. Ruby 2010/2013 00:22, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks a lot for the review! :) And yes, she is white. Theleftorium (talk) 14:21, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
All your changes/responses look great. Happy to pass this one for GA. Keep up the good work, Ruby 2010/2013 19:04, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
