Hello folks. I checked out the link provided as a source for this subject's birth and death information and while the place of birth and death information all check out, there's a huge question on my mind as to the veracity of the birth year provided, particularly since, if the subject's father is indeed the same person profiled on the Wikipedia article, said father would have had to have been VERY, VERY young when he fathered said subject. I'm wondering if the year of birth is a good decade off, at the very least, and if we can get some further proof of that. I will also check to see if the year of birth is correct on the father's article, and add a biographical detail missing on his article that shows up (and checks out) on another article. 50.95.50.40 (talk) 09:39, 8 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
This biography of Georg Olden does not mention Marc Olden by name and only lists Georg Olden Jr. as a son. But it does mention that Georg's first wife Courtenaye (definitely Marc Olden's mother) was older than him and had two children from a previous relationship. So perhaps Georg Olden was Marc Olden's adoptive father once Georg and Coutenaye were married?--51.6.190.81 (talk) 02:02, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
