Disruptive edits
[edit]Hello Elizium23, Veverve & Chad The Goatman, I'm sorry to drag you folks here, but I’m afraid I must, because you’ve got a gist of the rather off-putting WP:TEXTWALL in Talk:Mar Thoma Syrian Church and are also familiar with the consensual, source based changes that were made to that article, from July to September, 2020. After an interval of 6 months, Randomscholar1996 has started the same old disruptions, claiming without evidence that his Church is Oriental Orthodox, while numerous reliable published sources prove that the MTSC is the result of a Reformation of Oriental Orthodoxy, on Anglican lines and follows Protestant theology. He also removes reliable sources from articles, as he did twice, on this one. I request you to watch the MTSC related articles/talk pages and make interventions, as needed. Otherwise, I fear these articles would be vandalized.--Macinderum (talk) 12:21, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Macinderum: why are you pingin us in the talk page of this article and not directly in the Mar Thoma Syrian Church talk page if the problem is at the Mar Thoma Syrian Church article? EDIT: I now see the problem is in this article. Veverve (talk) 12:28, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
@Macinderum Dont worry, I just wanted to check the response. I am still quite busy. Might take approximately till June to start full time editing. You guys can rest till then. From June I want claim the MTC to be Oriental Orthodox, but rather I will claim what MTC is in the World Council of Churches. And I will gladly upload WCC member Churches profile as proof.
However there is no thing as "Protestant Eastern", the term is not valid in any Christian form or group Randomscholar1996 (talk) 14:04, 31 March 2021 (UTC)
- No worries at all, so long as Wikipedia works through consensus built upon reliable sources, and not by the whims and fancies of individuals.--Macinderum (talk) 05:01, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
This might go into the article but there is no text there about Canada.--Johnsoniensis (talk) 20:51, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
