"Manómetro", "manomètre", "manômetro", "manometro", "manometer" and other such words do not all mean the same. In English, it has generally meant a liquid-filled single-column device or a U-tube. In many other languages, it has been used for pressure measurement devices in general. Links to here would often be links to a false friend, but links to pressure measurement are appropriate.
