The proper spelling for this town is Mannfield. Can somebody please change?

NOTE: the name (Mansfield) does seem to be incorrect (ghost town is/was "Mannfield")

[edit]

It looks like the name of the ghost town was originally specified correctly, but later changed (perhaps to match non-ghost town?). I am currently surveying the situation, :) Proofreader77 (talk) 21:57, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

SOME RAW REFS:

  • COMMENT: Don't base spelling on a normal Google search for this one. Ghost towns are not necessarily much in the internet public record at the surface level.
  • COMMENT: Conflicting spelling. Hermosa Springs Wildlife Park history (No references for how this was written)

But before moving ... What of "Mansfield, Florida"?

[edit]

Now comparing with hits for Mansfield, Florida. (Confusion is understandable) Proofreader77 (talk) 23:34, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Mannfield" appears correct (OK to move)

[edit]

Based on the above survey of records, I am satisfied the title of the article should be Mannfield, Florida. Proofreader77 (talk) 23:53, 25 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
