The result of the move request was: Move to Manciano. Point well take by Vegaswikian, but consensus is to move, and practical negative repercussions will be negligible since the other users are so obscure, and the hatnote can take care of most of them. Manciano, GrossetoManciano — This Manciano is a commune and a town of 7,207; the others are two tiny villages and simply frazioni. This is the main Manciano and the most encyclopedic one, also because this is the normal policy between municipalities and hamlets. If you see, "Manciano, Arezzo" is a simple redirect to Castiglion Fiorentino. "Manciano, Umbria" has only 100 inhabitants. The actual disambiguation page (Manciano) should be moved to Manciano (disambiguation). --Dэя-Бøяg 16:13, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've discovered that the correct name of "Manciano, Arezzo" is Manciano La Misericordia. From the age of 5 Benigni lived at Vergaio, a neighbourhood of Prato, his second "birthplace". It is not a simple issue of dimension. Manciano is a municipality, the others not. Manciano is also famous for Saturnia and its spa. --Dэя-Бøяg 17:30, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support, for the reason shown in the request. --Dэя-Бøяg 17:30, 22 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose since there is no primary use. September page views: Manciano, Umbria has been viewed 116 times; Manciano, Grosseto has been viewed 286 times; Manciano La Misericordia has been viewed 0 times (but Manciano La Misericordia has been viewed 183 times on the Italian wiki). So the views here are not significant and with no clear primary topic, the dab page should stay where it is. Vegaswikian (talk) 18:01, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Another reason to support move should be (IMO) this one: When it is an ambiguous geo-title (eg: in Italy, Germany, Spain, Poland, Austria etc...) it is normally and standardly used to prefere a municipality to an hamlet for the main title. Note: Due to "La Misericordia", Manciano L.M. may not be considered a perfect homonymy as the commune and the Umbrian village. Greets and good work :-) --Dэя-Бøяg 19:33, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
