Article name

[edit]

I wasn't really sure of the article's name when creating it. I saw Plain of Manasseh used in an English book about railways, the only English source I could find which wasn't literally translating locality names. However, Plain of Manasseh doesn't seem to return any good hits, so perhaps Manasseh Heights or Ramat Menashe should be the article's name. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 10:49, 15 August 2008 (UTC) By the way, the article is called Manasseh Plateau (plain) in French. -- Ynhockey (Talk) 11:05, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it should be Manasseh Heights. The name in Hebrew is literarlly translated to "Manasseh Heights" (Like Golan Heights) and the place it inot a plain at all.--Bolter21 (talk to me) 00:03, 28 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Ynhockey: do we need a consensus for that? It also seems that per WP:COMMONNAME, "Menashe" is more common than "Manasseh". UNESCO uses it.--Bolter21 (talk to me) 16:17, 23 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You can move the article to that name if you want, I don't think anyone else is opposed (it's been 8 years after all ;) ) —Ynhockey (Talk) 20:32, 27 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
