Categories

Today, Ahunt deleted the Category:Companies' terms of service, saying it is "not an article about terms of service." That's why I didn't put it in Category:Terms of service, but in Category:Companies' terms of service, which is for "articles which describe terms of service, privacy and data policies of specific companies or products." The License and Privacy section of the article does describe Malwarebytes' terms of service (arbitration) and privacy policy, so it seems appropriate for the category. Overhaul desperately needed. An important article. This needs a lot of work from scratch!!

Products

The company offers four main products:

Malwarebytes' longest standing piece of software comes in two versions, both for Windows. The Free version scans and cleans malware off infected computers, whilst the paid-for version provides proactive protection to prevent malware installing in the first place.[1] The free malware remover AdwareMedic is now called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac.[2]

Malwarebytes Anti-Exploit

Anti-Exploit also comes in a free and paid for version for Windows computers. The free version stops exploits in browsers and Java, whilst the paid product adds protection for a wider range of software applications.[3]

Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Mobile

A free Android app which protects smartphones from mobile malware.[4]

Malwarebytes Endpoint Security

The Malwarebytes enterprise product protects companies from zero-day malware and exploits. This is designed to be run on company ‘endpoints’ (Internet connected devices) alongside a traditional signature based anti-virus.[5]

The Malwarebytes website also offers a variety of free computer security-related downloads for more technically advanced users.
