This is another example of sloppy categorising on the part of www.pantheon.org. In their article [Malara] this and related characters are identified as 'south coast of New Guinea' - definitely not Polynesian. Kahuroa 23:50, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

Polynesians are found on the south coast of New Guinea Aliasd 19:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
