The following discussion has been closed. Please do not modify it.

@Yamaguchi先生: @Materialscientist:, I see, we have redirected Bawa Malang to this page, probably due to the saint, Haji Malang, but unfortunately, the present text does not claims any information about the Saint, will it be possible to add external link in this article, which is covering the Saint's biography in short? It may be helpful to our readers. Since I can see from Google Search Results that, this article is on the top, for the search query, Haji Malang, because of the redirect, Let me know if it is possible to add the above mentioned external link, otherwise can you please delete the redirect? Thank you. 37.111.217.93 (talk) 13:00, 23 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Since it has been a fortnight I haven't heard from any of the concerned admin, I am assuming Good Faith and implementing proposed changes per Wikipedia:Bold. Thank you. 37.111.218.53 (talk) 15:12, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
 Done here-- 37.111.218.53 (talk) 15:21, 14 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tamzin: I saw you are one among the currently active admins here, per the above request by an IP I have restored the above proposed changes per wikipedia:bold but pretty sure that my way was unethical, as it was blacklisted now due to some reasons, so I have bypassed it with redirect, please check my edits and do the needful. Many thanks. 103.52.135.63 (talk) 08:39, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@103: Thanks for your candor in reaching out. I've reverted your edit because that link appears to go to a self-published source. Wikipedia does not accept such sources in articles, unless the source is someone notable or they're speaking about themself, neither of which applies here. If you can find some sources from reliable sources, you're welcome to add them. Thanks again. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 08:45, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tamzin:, Thank you for your quick response. It was not self published, but published by religious organization in maharashtra, named, qadri shattari, but unfortunately I am uanble to cite it possible due to .xyz blanket so I have bypassed it by a rediect. Can you please whitelist it so i can add the original source. Hope you will be helpful in this regard for the development of the project. 103.52.135.63 (talk) 08:49, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
www.qadrishattari DOT xyz/p/haji-malang.html is a self-published source by our definition, yes. That means that the content is not published by some a source that exercises editorial control over the author (such as a newspaper, a peer-reviewed journal, or another encyclopedia). So I'm afraid I can't make any exception to the blacklist for it. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 08:52, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to argue with you, but it is well established site with proper editorioral control over it per www.qadrishattari.xyz/p/privacy-policy.html , www.qadrishattari.xyz/p/terms-of-use.html and I believe it meets WP:RS. Also kindly consider to read the above proposed changes by another Ip. Many thanks. 103.52.135.63 (talk) 08:58, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Neither of those demonstrates editorial control. If you think that it is a reliable source nonetheless, you are welcome to make your case at the reliable sources noticeboard. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 09:02, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Tamzin: Can you please whitelist it so I can add it per wp:good faith and wp:bold. i do not wish to go through series of dramas here and there, would like to be very straightforward now. 103.52.135.63 (talk) 09:06, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
also what do you mean by editorial control over there? 103.52.135.63 (talk) 09:21, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
