Some problems of facts in this article

[edit]

As per the Native Life in Travanocore, written by Rev. Samuel Mateers, the Syrian Christians were the original traditional Christians of Travancore. They had no reason for migrating from their traditional areas. It was the other Christians who were the converts from lower castes of the social system, who were forced to migrate from Travancore. This was due to the fact that the Syrian Christians were not ready to acknowledge them as their equals.

The question is why should lies be mentioned? Are the settler populations ashamed of their heritage and how they improved through the intervention of the missionaries of the London Missionary Society and of such fantastic English administrators as Col.Munro? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.204.83.112 (talk) 13:11, 23 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
