Poorly sourced and spurious claims
[edit]This article cites several articles incorrectly. The citations under "Post Independence Life" point to articles that have almost nothing to do with Makhan Singh. Or in the first few lines: "was a Punjabi-born Kenyan labour union leader who is credited with establishing the foundations of trade unionism in Kenya" points to another wiki, not a proper source.
In the line "the Gujaratis adopted him as a fighter in their folk culture although Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru were against him for no known reason, and they asked for his arrest", the citation points to a blog. The claim itself seems improper on its face, ascribing prejudice to Gandhi/Nehru for "no known reason" without pointing to any scholarly appraisal of the claim 64.224.255.86 (talk) 03:41, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
