Whole tone

I don't see how choosing bG as the tonic brings about the whole-tone scale, seeings as all modes of the whole-tone scale are whole-tone scales themselves. On bG the whole-stone scale would be bG-bA-bB-C-D-E. The major locrian mode has a chromatic part in it, so unless the middle passing note (the 4th) is excluded, then no mode of it can be a whole-tone mode.
