Unsourced content
@124.41.228.142:, @103.213.127.85: and other IPs: Welcome to wikipedia. I have reverted your edits as you were over-writing each other's additions, but either way almost all of your edits were unsourced and original research. In one case, a personal blog was cited, but that does not meet wikipedia's reliable sources content guideline. If you have an explanation or suggestions, please post them on this talk page. Thank you. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 09:38, 22 February 2017 (UTC)

The legend of marriage of Shiva and Shakti is one the most important legends related to the festival of Mahashivaratri. The story tells us how Lord Shiva got married a second time to Shakti, his divine consort. According to legend of Shiva and Shakti, the day Lord Shiva got married to Parvati is celebrated as Shivaratri - the Night of Lord Shiva. OmNamhShiva (talk) 07:12, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
- The significance of Parvati-Shiva marriage to Shivaratri is already mentioned in the article. If you have further suggestions with reliable source citations, that would be welcome. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 10:15, 24 February 2017 (UTC)
