[edit]

In Croatia in the year 2006 I accidentally found a Magnum made with honey-taste ice cream (the colou was a bit more intense than the traditional vanilla ice cream of the Classic version) covered by milk chocolate (very good...), but I don't remember the name. Can someone complete these information so that it will be possible to add a new voice in the "Other national variants" section? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.16.180.161 (talk) 21:56, 31 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Streets?

[edit]

There are a few references included to an entity (brand? manufacturer? licensee?) called Streets, one of which implies that it markets Magnum bars in Australia. But Streets isn't mentioned in the top summary section, which says that Unilever owns the brand, so it's unclear what their role is. Hope someone can explain and edit the page accordingly. Weight of Original Magnum?

[edit]

I am not sure whether the weight of Magnum was not reduced over time. I found an internet-page of 2005 which says a magnum had 96g at that time instead of 86g. http://www.test.de/Eis-am-Stiel-Macao-Vanilla-am-besten-1254535-2254535/ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.121.153.12 (talk) 10:58, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Competitors of Magnum in India

[edit]

Many ice cream selling companies have launched similar products to Magnum bars in India. Some of the major brands in the market are Amul EPIC, Havmor Blockbuster, Vadilal Badabite, Mother Dairy Belgiyum, Top n Town Tornado, Cream Bell Fantasia, Dairy Day Crust, Arun I Bars etc. Except Amul EPIC, majority of these products contain either regular ice cream or frozen desserts with or without Belgium chocolate. Amul EPIC contains super premium ice cream with Belgium dark chocolate. Chauhan.vishwajit (talk) 12:43, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Walls Magnum invented in the 1960s?

[edit]

In Channel 5's Our Cilla: The One and Only (Sun 6 Jun 2021, 9pm) they show some black and white archive from a box office in the 1960s (likely to be an ODEON showing of Cone of Silence - as this was also used for archive). In the left hand area of the screen you can see an advert for Walls' Magnum, priced at 1d and looking very much as the Magnum we know today.

IBX Updates

[edit]

Hello pals,

I'd like to propose a change to this article's infobox.

Unilever is listed as the "Owner", but the IBX parameters found in the provided reference state:

"...is a subsidiary or division, omit the owner field and use the parent field instead"

If this doesn't cause any editor-friction, I'd like to circle back here soon and update the IBX myself!

Thank you to all!
