I don't think so. "Magistra Vitae" is a historiographical principle and mode of discourse; it's not just a quote from classical literature. mano dei 07:55, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

bad citation
[edit]The source cited is not correct; in De oratore II, 9 does not contain that phrase at all[1]. Please correct the citation. Also, macrons should be added.
