Pitches and notation
[edit]Kyle Gann gives exact ratios for the pitches of the Magic Chord (Duckworth p. 170), consistent with the harmonics given in the table at the bottom of the article. The piano chord is played as E, F#, A, B, D, E, G, A. I have corrected the MIDI files (without changing the octave). The article seems confused with another version, written for strings. - I've made an attempt to clarify some of the notation in the article. I'm not sure whether the first table should be a scale or a chord. Either way, it is missing some notes of the Magic chord. Burninthruthesky (talk) 12:48, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
