Remove: In May 2013 Magic Hat filed a federal trademark infringement lawsuit against Lexington, Kentucky craft brewery West Sixth Brewing. The suit claims that West Sixth's logo, featuring a number 6 and a "dingbat" star, and the orange color scheme of its Amber Ale product, infringes on Magic Hat's #9 branding.[6]
I completely agree that mention of the lawsuit on the Wikipedia page is not appropriate. Lawsuits are part of business and happen all the time. Just because this one made it here as a result to tarnish Magic Hat's image because of a smear campaign started by the defendant, doesn't make it appropriate. This is true for the comments regarding "American" - Magic Hat is proudly brewed in the USA in VT where they have been since origination. Again, because someone's made about the lawsuit, does not make Wikipedia the appropriate platform to voice your opinions. - Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the

template. You may have a valid point here, but as it stands the statement is adequately referenced, does not give undue weight to this aspect of the company, and is not overly POV. I would not object to removing this sentence if a consensus is established in support of doing so. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:36, 24 May 2013 (UTC)
