Wow, this is a seriously bad article. Needs a complete rewrite. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.32.86.86 (talk) 17:53, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this keep calling them "the accused." They were found guilty of the crime. They were no longer "the accused" but rather "the perpetrators." "The accused" makes it sound like there is a question of their guilt. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.116.106.117 (talk) 18:02, 17 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

REE etc.

[edit]

The names of the rapists are preceded by "REE" etc. Do these mean something in the Phillipines? If so, they should probably be explained or wikilinked.Bill (talk) 03:50, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

I propose that Abduction and rape of Maggie de la Riva is merged into Maggie de la Riva. There is substantial overlap with the 2 articles. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:13, 6 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I think the actress article should be merged instead to the article about the crime. Redirect Maggie de la Riva to Abduction and rape of Maggie de la Riva for now. If de la Riva meets per WP:NACTOR (enough information could be retrieved about de la Riva outside the rape case; about her appearance in major films and television series), then a separate article about de la Riva could be recreated.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 13:45, 7 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
