GA review (see here for criteria)

I do not have any problems with passing this as a good article.

  1. It is reasonably well written.

Many of the references I couldn't check because they weren't in English.

  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.

Wikify

  • Could use more wiki links to non-biathlon related articles. i.e intestinal fungus, 2008 German Sportswoman of the Year. I have no idea if these actually have articles, but you get the idea.

Summary

[edit]

Honestly, I could be really nit picky and pull apart quite a few sentences out of this article as to work on prose, but due to the amount of content and it only being good article status, I think it is substantial enough to pass. It has the potential of a feature article, but needs cleaning up and another peer review in a few months after some more copyediting by dedicated editors to this page would be a good idea. You may also want an editor that speaks German on English Wikipedia to verify these references in a future peer review and add it to the talk page. Anyway, apart from that, the article is comprehensive, has all facts cited and referenced and maintains a NPOV (from what I could gather from English sources). Good work!
