AK-47 Derivative?
[edit]Why is the Madsen LAR included in the Kalashnikov derivative category?
Apart from the fact, that it was made in a 7.62x39mm version for Finnish trials, neither the article, nor any of the sources given point to any AK-47 influence.
So exactly how was the LAR a derivative?
I'm not familiar with the rifle's development and don't have access to extra sources at the moment. I know the LAR is mentioned in "Rifles of the World", but my copy is in storage.
I'm not denying that it may have been derived from the AK-47, but it's just that no part of the article or it's sources substantiate this claim. So if it's true it should figure in the article. Mojowiha (talk) 12:33, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
