Should we include [in the page] that Madelaine is also a YouTuber?

[edit]

Madelaine has a YouTube channel titled "Madelaine Petsch". https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCU0X0jiii24OXllSgXbPVBw/about The channel has over two million subscribers, and a combined view count of nearly 70 Million views. Needles to say it's a pretty popular page. So, should we incorporate her YouTube career into this page too? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joey kl22 (talkcontribs) 20:37, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Not unless it's shown to be a notable activity (e.g. by coverage in multiple independent sources). --IJBall (contribstalk) 22:59, 28 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This article has a significant problem with WP:OVERCITE – somebody needs to go through here and cut down on the extraneous sourcing. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:31, 19 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Still an issue here. --IJBall (contribstalk) 15:10, 14 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Relationships inclusion?

[edit]

An unnamed user seems to think that including the fact(s) that Petsch dated a musician is gossip. Thoughts?Pictureperfect2 (talk) 22:30, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It is standard practice to keep casual dating relationships out – this is an encyclopedia, not a WP:GOSSIP rag. We generally only include relationships when they get to the engagement stage, or when it's so long-term that it essentially becomes a common law partnership. But dating for a year or less? – Not notable enough to include here. And, FTR – it isn't just me that thinks this: it's most long-term editors of WP:BLPs on Wikipedia. --IJBall (contribstalk) 23:02, 14 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
