Parodies
The Tosh.0 parody should be added to the Parodies section. It was in the season six premiere episode, "We Buy Golf". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.166.34.120 (talk) 19:35, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
- I would actually prefer it if we removed all of them. It is a huge section and getting bigger all of the time. I don't know what it brings to the article really. Dbrodbeck (talk) 20:03, 28 April 2014 (UTC)
- That's a good point, either that or have a dedicated page for it. I figured, as long as the section is there, all of them should be added. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.166.34.120 (talk) 00:47, 12 May 2014 (UTC)
- I tend to not like long lists at cultural refs, including parodies. its completely nonnotable, for instance, that Mad Magazine would run a parody of anything, cause thats all they do, and they do every tv show and movie that gets any attention. I would leave here only parodies that have been acknowledged significantly, either by the show itself or with praise from reliable sources. The show has "made it", so its having been parodied is now not noteworthy. Even if kept, they should be in a separate article, otherwise its providing undue weight than they need in this article.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 06:25, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
- Same here, if someone could say split that stuff off into its own article, maybe that would be a thought. The idea that TV shows/magazines etc do parodies of popular things is not really notable at all.... Dbrodbeck (talk) 11:16, 6 June 2014 (UTC)

- I don't think a separate article is a good idea. Given the parodies are barely notable at all in this article, giving them their own article makes less sense. The section should definitely be trimmed, removing all parts that are unsourced and use first-party sources (CollegeHumor, Funny or Die, etc.) Or, just remove the whole section. - I was being all compromisey, but, I would be totally happy with removing all of them. Dbrodbeck (talk) 19:55, 6 June 2014 (UTC)
