Plot summary is a copyright violation
[edit]Dear STATicVerseatide:
You are right, I should have left a message here about the source of the copyright problem. Here it is, https://www.facebook.com/macanddevin/info and also http://www.vibe.com/article/mac-and-devin-go-high-school-official-movie-trailer. You can rewrite it if you have time; I'm in the middle of a large project fixing cut and paste articles, and came across this accidentally. —Anne Delong (talk) 03:21, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for doing this, I only reverted it because some editors throw around the word "copyright violation" without having any proof of there being one. I have not seen the movie in a really long time, but I will attempt to copy edit it so it is not a clear copyvio. STATic message me! 04:00, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- Great! —Anne Delong (talk) 04:17, 27 August 2013 (UTC)
- STATic, please read Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. —Anne Delong (talk) 07:27, 5 September 2013 (UTC)

- This diff, shows the current version is significantly different from the origional. Maybe one day soon when I have time I will watch the movie and write a deep plot covering everything, but there is not much to work with when you are just summarizing the movie in one paragraph. Removing the whole plot to replace it with (plot has been removed due to copyright reasons} is just lazy, and not the right way to go along with it at all. - Maybe so, but copy-pasting a plot summary from a web site is even lazier, and also illegal. —Anne Delong (talk) 10:27, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
