MINT does not include Korea

[edit]

After reviewing reliable sources, I have concluded that the MINT acronym does not include Korea. Rather than get into an edit war on the MIKT page, I have chosen to edit this page instead, which was previously a redirect. (Heroeswithmetaphors) talk 15:57, 7 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for commenting on the issue. I had originally moved MIKT to MINT. MINT for sure doesn't include Korea. I did some research before changing anything and some articles would show a correlation, but it clearly appears MINT is different from MIKT...or he otherwise replaced it. Jim O'Neill makes a bunch of acronyms, both MIKT and MINT are Next eleven countries. I see your move as the right thing to do. A new page for the MINTs is appropriate and well help lessen confusion. I needed some consensus, and non of us want to get in edit wars. Viller the Great (talk) 02:40, 21 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Couldn't figure out how to start new topic on this one, but could someone edit the start of the Turkey portion of the article, it states: Turkey's economy grew at 10.3 percent last year, but I can't figure out which year that is, can someone who is aware of what year that was just edit the last year to grew 10.3 percent in XXXX 70.69.172.92 (talk) 07:56, 15 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

MIKT still exists seperately from MINT

[edit]

Someone whoever replaced MIKT with MINT needs to make an additional page for MIKT. This is honestly not a correct way to make an article for MINT. HanSangYoon (talk) 16:19, 19 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
