Conflict of interest
[edit]Most of the content was copied from Elsevier MDL where it was added by user 70.134.47.66. A reverse DNS lookup indicates this IP address is associated with mdl.com. Nurg (talk) 22:25, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
MDL played a pivotal role in chemical information. This entry does not understand its relevance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chemhistorian (talk • contribs) 06:23, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
This article was provided by MDL to record its history, albeit briefly, when it was acquired by Symyx Technologies Inc. It is unlikely that anyone outside of the company would take the time to provide this information, and to assume that there is a conflict of interest is naive. The article makes no commercial claims and is very factual. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Keithttaylor (talk • contribs) 21:59, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
Original Name
[edit]My impression is that the original name was "Molecular Design Ltd", rather than "Molecular Design Limited, Inc." The former was how I recollect the name in documentation in the 1985-1988 timeframe. Although the Delaware entity records show MOLECULAR DESIGN, INC., registered 05/21/1976.
