LOL, not sure should I cry or laugh, there are so many wrongs in this article that it begs the belief.

Weight 80 tonnes ---- this is so funny it is beyond me, that would make this tank weigh more than M1A2 and Challenger 2, heaviest tanks in the world. Silly if you ask me, and why is this article not part of the M84 article, after all it is a same tank with T90 upgrades. Well I could easily argue it is a T90 well poor version of it at least. I know bit about these stuff so I am not talking out of the context here. If Wiki is to be used as a trustworthy source of information it must be accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.111.164.48 (talk) 16:58, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According Oklop the M-2001 weighs 45 tonnes. As compare, the russian T-90 weighs 46,5 tonnes, the croatian Degman 44,5 tonnes. The M-2001 has two motors: V-46-TK with 1000 hp and V-46-TK1 with 1200 hp. From where are the information that the M-2001 weighs 54 tonnes and its motor has 1500 hp?--Carski

Tenk M-84AB1 source

[edit]

I have marked the "Tenk M-84AB1" source as self published twice. IP editor 99.236.221.124 has reverted it twice, the second time with the comment "The guy cites the sources he took this info from at the bottom of his page". - The sources listed on the page are:

  1. List "Vojska"
  2. List "Politika"
  3. http://armor.kiev.ua/fofanov/Tanks/EQP/shtora.html

The first two are not WP:VERIFIABLE as there isn't enough detail to find them.

If the fofanov web page supports what the reference is used for, it should be given as the source directly - however, I have doubts whether it is WP:RELIABLE either. As such, I have re-tagged the reference. Hohum 14:48, 9 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Tanks are not produced in Serbia, and Yugoimport SDPR is ONLY a middleman! There is only one single prototype of M-84AS, which was modernized by the Russians. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.30.153.33 (talk) 14:02, 9 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
