I think the components section is lacking. I've been scouring the internet for good sources to further expand information about the use of sugars in particular, but haven't found many. If I find some, I can bring them back to the talk page. (For some context, I came to the page as a starting place for what to teach on a protocol.) --> Here are the sources I've found: https://biologywise.com/how-to-make-cell-lysis-solution, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3983595/, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6999527/. As I have time, I'll try to improve sourcing as these allow. Won't be bothered, of course, if someone else does it first :) SunshineSunshine

Linking to other Wikipedia pages describing components and mechanisms might be useful, but I'm not sure how much of that this community thinks is best. The article for Triton was really helpful for me in understanding that Triton and CHAPS work together as a surfactant. There are also some concepts (e.g. zwitterion, amphipathic/amphiphile)

I also spotted some second-person (e.g. "your experiment" vs. "an experiment"). Would I be alright to fix that directly as minor edits? Would the community feel most comfortable if I posted changes on this Talk Page? I haven't edited much and don't want to go messing around with plans. --> I fixed the second person. SunshineSunshine
