Sweeter Love

[edit]

Sweeter love was not sung by Aya, it was sung by Eritrean singer Shasta Abdulla-Hussein. This is a common mistake that is made due to Trenier (a Brit) and Hussein (an Eritrean) have similar voices but different accents. Thanks. 199.101.62.30 (talk) 08:52, 6 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

interview finally proves she was not born in the UK or even in London

[edit]

I was on a bus a little while ago, and it was playing a radio station (can't remember its name but it was on satelite radio form the UK), and in it, Lysa was interviewed, and in this interview she stated that she "first" moved to London at age 3 from Africa. She later said, "well I am technically zimbabwean". therefore we know two things based on this interview:

  • she was for sure for sure for sure not born in the city of London.
  • She was not born in the United Kingdom or the country of England.
  • She was born on the continent of Africa, likely in Zimbabwe as she stated she is "technically" zimbabwean. Given that her ancestry is Singaporean and Scottish, the conclusin is that by this tatement, "i'm technically zimbabwean", Zimbabwe is the place of her birth.

Either way she said she first moved to London at age 3 from Africa. I don't care if you remove zimbabwe for now, but do not restore London as her birth place as we no for sure London is not her plac eof birth. I can even check hospital records there as I have access to their databases. 199.101.62.30 (talk) 07:30, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The database in question is called www.genesreunited.co.uk and I searched all forms, just in case, I narrowed the birth years between 1965 and 1995, with the place being London searching all forms including the following, *Lysa Ays Trenier, *Aya Lysa Trenier, *Lisa Ays Trenier, *Aya Lisa Trenier, *Lysa Trenier, *Lysa Trenier, *Aya Trenier. guess what, nothing. I'm working on finding the radi ostation's name so I can put that down here too, then I can link the interview. hope I can find it soon to get this london myth destroyed forever. thanks. PS, I wish she was born in England because I'm English. 199.101.62.30 (talk) 07:41, 20 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Have you found the link to the interview yet? It's been a month. --Rmcrae2015 (talk) 03:20, 21 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Rmcrae2015 I removed her birth place of London as there is no source saying that she was born in this city. I was getting ready to remove Zimbabwe as I couldn't find the interview link either, though to be fair I used a similar source on Cass Fox, which I maybe should not have. Either way though being from London does not mean london-born, and I could not find anything that stated that Lysa Aya Trenier was born in London, only that she is from london. Also I find it genuinely offensive as an Eritrean-born Londoner that one would assume that she was born in London due to simply being from london. thanks. 23.151.192.180 (talk) 02:42, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
