[edit]I listened to talk about Luther's hymns all day while traveling. My conclusion: he didn't write them to be sung at church, - for a long time Latin hymns would be sung there, and "Wir glauben all an einen Gott". Luther wrote them for educational purposes, for students of Latin schools. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 00:00, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
More precisely: why doesn't the lead explain what a Lutheran hymn is, before talking about Luther's musical preferences? We should not expect readers to know what Luther, Lutheranism and hymn are. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 15:36, 1 November 2017 (UTC)
