How does this work?
[edit]I don't understand this. Is this reflection or emission spectroscopy? How do they get infrared spectroscopy to "determine the form, amount, and location of lunar water in permanently shadowed parts of the Moon," when permanently regions don't get external IR illumination, and aren't at high enough temperatures to emit significant amounts of infrared?
