A few leftover links
[edit]A few leftover links I gathered but did not use when revamping the article:
- Kickstarter spoof
- Teaching
- The Playground -- a few more links if needed
(By the way, I just figured out that playwright Michael Leoni's stage name is Michael Justen)
- http://www.goldstar.com/events/hollywood-ca/the-playground (2006 listing)
- Bayside High School Musical

- Sorry I didn't respond in the AfD before it just closed, my comment was about the "garnered international attention" seemed promotional in tone since the attention isn't all that great (latimesblogs mostly). Perhaps another way of saying it is award-winning which sounds less promotional and hard to disagree with, I'll edit and you can judge. -- Green Cardamom (talk) 17:08, 22 September 2013 (UTC)
- Hi GC, thanks for your note. If I may, I'm going to respond to a couple of your points. "[T]he attention isn't all that great (latimesblogs mostly)". There are no LATimes blogs listed. The cited attention is from Los Angeles Times Entertainment section, Washington Post, Huffington Post, Entertainment Weekly, Mashable, Southern California Public Radio, The Wrap, Perez Hilton, ESPN's Grantland, The New York Observer, and various international sites such as France 24 and 56.com (not to mention possibly nearly a million online views total). "[A]ward-winning Funny or Die films" is inaccurate, because only one has won an award. "[H]as been involved in" is not fully accurate in my mind because he starred in, co-wrote, and co-produced them all -- they are in effect his films, not films he was simply involved in. I'm going to replace the sentence with what I changed it to on September 21, which takes the attention off of Barnett and places it on the films: "Barnett's Funny or Die films have garnered national and international attention." If there is still objection to that, the sentence can be deleted entirely, but it's better that it be accurate than inaccurate. Thanks again. :) Softlavender (talk) 02:05, 23 September 2013 (UTC)
