Inaccuracies, Omissions and Changes
[edit]It states that he played Heinrich Himmler in "Hitler's Madman", but he wasn't even in that movie - I think someone has gotten confused with "The Hitler Gang". Shall I go ahead and change it?
He played the voice of the King in the Disney animation Cinderella, which is a pretty significant role - I think it should be mentioned somewhere.
Finally, I've managed to find a couple of pictures of him online. This is the best of the lot, in my opinion, so if no one has any objections I'll go ahead and add it to the article. Metathesiophobia 15:01, 4 November 2006 (UTC)
- The "confusion" that User:Metathesiophobia refers to must have struck the editor of the mini bio of van Rooten at IMDB. That site clearly shows van Rooten portraying Himmler in The Hitler Gang (1944), but Howard Freeman doing so in "Hitler's Madman" (1943). Accordingly, and without any other evidence that van Rooten impersonated Himmler in "Hitler's Madman", I'm adjusting the article text to match the list of portrayals at IMDB. Specifically, I'm removing the film "Hitler's Madman" and changing the date of The Hitler Gang to 1944. yoyo (talk) 13:21, 17 September 2016 (UTC)
