Luis De Los Santos → Luis de los Santos (infielder) – I'm not sure why this article is formatted as Luis De Los Santos when Baseball-Reference capitalizes his name the traditional way. If you want to argue that that's how MLB.com capitalizes his name, I'd argue that they use the same miscapitalization for the pitcher whose Wikipedia article title is appropriately capitalized.
Alternatively, it could be moved to Luis de los Santos (third baseman) or Luis de los Santos (baseball, born 1998). There should probably also be a disambiguation page at Luis de los Santos because there are three people with the name, each with similarly low levels of notoriety. Dennis C. - Disambiguate all, no primary topic. There is no WP:DIFFCAPS argument here. No opinion on the correct capitalization; use (pitcher), (first baseman), and (third baseman) as disambiguation tags. 162 etc. (talk) 17:38, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
- Move Luis De Los Santos → Luis de los Santos (infielder) and Luis de los Santos → Luis de los Santos (third baseman), and create dabpage at basename. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:44, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Luis de los Santos is a first baseman.
- Luis de los Santos (infielder) is ambiguous, since first basemen and third basemen are both infielders. 162 etc. (talk) 16:45, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- A third baseman IS an infielder.. so that disamb is not really proper when there are more than one. probably better to use the (baseball, born 1998) descriptor. Spanneraol (talk) 16:46, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- My mistake. In that case, Luis De Los Santos → Luis de los Santos (third baseman) and Luis de los Santos → Luis de los Santos (first baseman). -- Necrothesp (talk) 16:48, 18 November 2024 (UTC)

- Relisting comment: Relisting to gain consensus on appropriate disambiguators for the 3 BLPs identified in the discussion to create an appropriate DAB page at the base and move the articles thereafter. Raladic (talk) 19:36, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose BR, MLB.com, and all the sources I see capitalize the initials in his name. This isn't that uncommon, see De Los Santos for people with lower case and upper case titles, and Elly De La Cruz for a similar example. DIFFCAPS applies. – Muboshgu (talk) 19:52, 24 November 2024 (UTC)
- Note that the De Los Santos page lists people with both "de los Santos" and "De Los Santos" surnames. Having separate de los Santos and De Los Santos surname pages would be completely confusing for no good reason. The capital letters, or lack there of, are not sufficient disambiguation here. 162 etc. (talk) 17:03, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support Luis De Los Santos → Luis de los Santos (third baseman) and Luis de los Santos → Luis de los Santos (first baseman) per Necrothesp. The "proper" spelling also has the particles uncapitalized per WP:MCSTJR.--Ortizesp (talk) 14:14, 25 November 2024 (UTC)
- "Proper" spelling appears to have the particles capitalized.[1][2] – Muboshgu (talk) 19:32, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- Support Luis De Los Santos → Luis de los Santos (third baseman) and Luis de los Santos → Luis de los Santos (first baseman) per Necrothesp and Ortizesp. Suppose a reader comes across a headline referring to "LUIS DE LOS SANTOS" - then what? BD2412 T 00:12, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hatnotes. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:11, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- That would require an identifiable primary topic. BD2412 T 18:12, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hatnotes. – Muboshgu (talk) 02:11, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose per User:Muboshgu. I created the article using the capitalization found in the sources Muboshgu listed. 53 (talk) 02:09, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- That doesn't address the issue that it's completely ambiguous. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:00, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support Luis De Los Santos (third baseman), retaining capitalization as Muboshgu suggests, but not relying on WP:DIFFCAPS as I don't think the capitalization by itself shows a clear intention of what a reader is searching for. Also support Luis de los Santos → Luis de los Santos (first baseman). It's ok if it turns out that not every person named De Los Santos, De La Cruz, etc. always has the same capitalization. Adumbrativus (talk) 10:37, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Comment I've edited the nomination to include the Luis de los Santos article. 162 etc. (talk) 17:34, 10 December 2024 (UTC)
- Support Luis De Los Santos → Luis de los Santos (third baseman) and Luis de los Santos → Luis de los Santos (first baseman). Theparties (talk) 00:30, 18 December 2024 (UTC)
