Outline of page looks good. I would suggest making sure all facts about Rorke-Adams's life is in chronological order. An introduction/brief summary on her life and accomplishments would be good to put at the top of the page. A picture of her would also be good to add. Maybe put Early Life section above Family Life section. ENGWstudent (talk) 15:25, 29 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
"Lucy Balian Rorke-Adams", before 2004, is an anachronym
The article referred to her as Lucy Balian Rorke-Adams when discussing her entire life, but during most of her life (so far), this was not her name. If I understand correctly, her original surname was Balian, and became Rorke or Balian-Rorke in 1960 when she was about 31 years old. Her name didn't become Lucy Balian Rorke-Adams until 2004 when she was about 75 years old. This was near the end of her career (she retired in 2015 when she was about 86 years old). It therefore seems improper to refer to her with "Adams" during most of her career. Her medical career spanned from 1957 to 2015, a period of about 58 years, and 45 years of that (78%), were without the "Adams". I have therefore been changing the article to clarify what her name was at each point in time. — BarrelProof (talk) 16:32, 7 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
