Fluorescence or bioluminescence?

Bioluminescence is light produced by biochemical reactions and is not the same as fluorescence, which is to emit light after having absorbed light of, normally, a higher energy. --Episcophagus (talk) 19:17, 17 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
