The article says "major general" but the photo has three stars (lieutenant general). What's up with that?

Edited some things, such as the picture(moving it from the right to the center and removing the useless caption), as well as adding the Early life headline.

(new comment) Not sure why Melvin Zais is shown as successor in command of the Third Army -- he commanded 3A some 26 years after Truscott. Best I can tell, General Gillem took command of 3A in 1947 in Atlanta, but there may have an interim commander as well. Found it - will edit main article. W. B. Plagiarism

[edit]

Most of this article is copied directly from the www.arlingtoncemetery.net article on Truscott. While that site at first appears to be by the government, it is labeled as a private venture. It should not, therefore, be copied here. KarlWK (talk) 01:41, 20 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Grandson

[edit]

Is it worth mentioning that the grandson listed last (Lucian Truscott IV ) is something of a champion for gay rights? That his book Dress Gray is about a gay murder in the military? That he penned the infamous article in the Village Voice about the Stonewall riot, a gay bar? It seems disingenuous to include him, appearing to be just another military man. Almost closeted like. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.182.83.46 (talk) 07:55, 29 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
